RFP Type: Competitive Media Intelligence & Spend Reporting
Brand USA is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide competitive advertising spend intelligence across key international source markets. The project focuses on measuring tourism marketing investment by official national Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), providing Brand USA with a comprehensive view of competitive destination marketing activity.
The primary deliverable is a structured Excel report detailing competitive advertising spend by country, competitor, media channel, and month. While creative examples are not required, they are welcomed if available. Vendors may also propose a software solution that enables Brand USA to conduct ongoing competitive analysis independently.
Scope of Work
The selected vendor will provide:
- Competitive advertising spend data across Brand USA’s identified international source markets.
- Monthly reporting by competitor, media channel, and country.
- Historical spend data for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
- Identification of additional relevant national tourism competitors where applicable.
- Reporting that distinguishes national and regional advertising activity.
- Information regarding cooperative advertising, including whether official DMO investment can be separated from partner funded campaigns.
Brand USA is open to either a project based reporting engagement or a software platform that supports ongoing competitive intelligence.
