Region
The North East Chapter (NETTRA) of the Travel and Tourism Research Association focuses on addressing travel and tourism issues in the highly populous and economically developed North East region of the United States. Comprising ten states—Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont—along with Washington, D.C., this chapter brings together professionals, researchers, and stakeholders from this vibrant and diverse area. NETTRA actively contributes to the growth and advancement of the travel and tourism industry in the North East by promoting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovative strategies. With its focus on this region’s unique characteristics and opportunities, the North East Chapter plays a crucial role in shaping policies, driving sustainable practices, and fostering economic prosperity in this dynamic and influential part of the country.
