The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) invites presentation proposals for the Marketing Outlook Forum (MOF).

MOF brings together destination marketers, tourism researchers, industry practitioners, and agencies to explore the trends, data, and market forces shaping the future of travel and tourism marketing.

We are seeking practical, marketing focused, forward-looking sessions that help attendees better understand what is ahead and how to plan for it. Submissions should offer clear insights, credible evidence, and actionable takeaways for destination marketing organizations, tourism businesses, travel researchers, and industry partners. Presentations need to reflect the theme.


Suggested Marketing & Outlook-focused Session Topics (but not limited to):

  • Travel demand outlook and market forecasting
  • Consumer sentiment and traveler behavior
  • Audience Targeting/Development
  • Destination marketing strategy
  • Brand, creative, and media trends
  • AI, technology, and marketing automation

Review Criteria

Proposals will be reviewed based on:

  • Relevance to the Marketing Outlook Forum audience
  • Strength and credibility of the insight, research, data, or experience presented
  • Practical value for destination marketers and tourism industry professionals
  • Timeliness of the topic
  • Clarity of proposed takeaways
  • Balance of perspectives across sectors, geography, and professional backgrounds

Speaker Expectations

Accepted speakers agree to:

  • Ensure content is educational, non-commercial, and appropriate for the MOF audience
  • Meet all published deadlines for speaker information and presentation materials
  • Participate in a preparation call if the session includes multiple speakers or panelists
  • Grant TTRA permission to use the speaker’s name, title, organization, bio, photo, session title, and session description for event-related promotion
  • Speakers retain ownership of their original content. TTRA may use submitted session information and related materials for event planning, promotion, and attendee communications.
