TTRA Appoints Dr. Seán T. Ruane as New President

June 21, 2024 – The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Seán T. Ruane as the new President of the Board for a one-year term.

Dr. Ruane, a renowned academic with a Ph.D. in Tourism and a Master’s in Hospitality Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, brings significant expertise to TTRA. He is a lecturer at Shannon College of Hotel Management and Associate Head of the School for Research & Community Engagement, leading the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management program at the Seychelles Tourism Academy.
