As valued members of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA), we invite you to cast your vote for the association’s next Officer and Board of Directors. Your participation in the upcoming elections is crucial. Your vote ensures that our Board reflects the dynamic nature of our membership and addresses the evolving needs of our industry and organization.

Voting Eligibility: Only current TTRA members in good standing are eligible to vote. Details will be sent to members directly via email.

Your involvement is key to shaping the future direction of TTRA and ensuring we continue to lead with innovative solutions in travel and tourism research.

The TTRA International Board of Directors presents a slate of talented and dedicated candidates with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences across the travel and tourism research community.

Officer Nominee (2nd Vice-President)

The elected Officer will serve as 2nd Vice-President for 2025–2026 and will progress to 1st Vice-President, President, and Chair in the following three years.

The elected Second Vice President will progress through roles, serving as First Vice President, President, and then Chair over the next four years.

Anna Blount

Anna Blount – DATAFY
With over 15 years of experience in market research and industry leadership, Anna is an expert in integrating diverse research methodologies and data sources to drive strategic decision-making in the travel and tourism industry.

Lorinda Cruikshank

Lorinda Cruikshank – Missouri Division of Tourism

Lorinda brings over 20 years of active TTRA membership and leadership within the CenStates Chapter, where she served as Treasurer, Vice President, and two-term President. She currently serves on the TTRA International Conference Planning and Membership Committees and recently presented at the 2025 Marketing Outlook Forum. Lorinda manages research for Missouri Tourism and brings deep expertise in data analysis and vendor relations. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from Columbia College.

Jeff Dalley

Jeff Dalley – Tourism Insight Ltd.

Jeff is a founding board member and Past-President of the Asia-Pacific Chapter and has served one term on the International Board. With over 40 years in tourism, including roles in government, business, and academia, Jeff currently leads social research for New Zealand’s Department of Conservation. A former recipient of TTRA’s Distinguished Researcher Award, he advocates for international engagement and strategic growth within TTRA.

Michel Dubreuil

Michel Dubreuil – Destination Canada

Michel serves as Lead Tourism Economist at Destination Canada, where he leads national tourism statistics programs and economic forecasting. He represents Canada on the UN Tourism Committee on Statistics and chairs its Editorial Board. A former TTRA Canada President and Cheryl Schutz Award recipient at MOF 2024, Michel is seeking a second term to continue advancing tourism sustainability and data innovation. He holds an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from UBC.

Chris Klauda

Chris Klauda – STR

Chris has long been engaged with TTRA and the global tourism research community. Her candidacy is driven by a passion for knowledge-sharing and promoting the power of travel to connect people. Chris believes in TTRA’s core values: thought leadership, inclusive collaboration, and an eye on future-forward innovation — all in a fun and welcoming environment.

Bing Pan

Dr. Bing Pan – Penn State University

Dr. Pan has over 20 years of experience in tourism research and education. He has published 97 academic papers, received $1.7M in research funding, and served as Director of the Office of Tourism Analysis at the College of Charleston. A Fulbright Scholar and founder of the NorthEast Chapter of TTRA, Bing recently helped launch the TTRA Fellows Program. His vision is to bridge academic research with industry application and foster a more inclusive global research community.

John Picou

John Picou – Visit Anaheim

John is the Director of Business Intelligence at Visit Anaheim, where his work in predictive modeling and AI has driven major ROI gains. He’s an active leader in the Greater Western Chapter and passionate about elevating TTRA through cross-sector partnerships, cutting-edge analytics, and stronger member engagement. His career combines strategic planning, tech-driven insights, and mentorship initiatives to shape the future of tourism research.

Kelsey Waite

Kelsey Waite – Longwoods International

Kelsey currently serves as Vice President of the CenStates board and has been an active TTRA member since 2015. She has supported MOF and Annual conference planning, led sponsorship efforts, and contributed to membership strategy. Her background in client engagement and deep commitment to TTRA’s values drive her desire to serve and help grow the organization’s future impact.
