JTR’s Tribute to TTRA’s 50th Anniversary
The Tribute to TTRA’s 50th Anniversary includes 22 selected papers featuring several of the most celebrated pieces on destination marketing and management to have appeared in JTR throughout the past five decades. These are “open access” (free and publicly available) for one year until Sept 1, 2021. Chosen based on a careful evaluation of each piece’s conceptual contribution, practical relevance, topical and methodological diversity, and citations and impact, these papers cover a wide range of research methods, perspectives, and some of the most classic tourism topics – from destination image and branding to destination competitiveness and demand forecasting. The special collection is an expression of gratitude from JTR — a heartfelt thank-you note to leaders and members of the TTRA community for their enthusiastic support and cooperation.
Happy 50th Anniversary, TTRA!
