Make the Season Work Harder: Using Data to Find and Maximize DMO Opportunity
Presented by Tourism Economics
Some destination opportunities are hiding in plain sight: a traditionally softer travel period, a recurring event, or a time when demand is already building.
Join us as Tourism Economics explores how destinations can use data to turn predictable seasonal moments into better strategy. Through two timely examples, we’ll look at how one destination marketing organization (DMO) used a first-ever holiday campaign to boost demand during a shoulder season, while another analyzed college football weekends to understand which games and visitor patterns resulted in the greatest lodging opportunity.
Together, these stories can help inspire destinations to move beyond simply recognizing seasonal patterns to understanding when to act and how to maximize and measure impact.
