The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is inviting expressions of interest from emerging professionals interested in joining its Emerging Leaders Committee.
The committee brings together individuals who are passionate about strengthening connections within TTRA’s global community, welcoming new members, and encouraging greater engagement across the travel and tourism research profession.

The Emerging Leaders Committee provides an opportunity for early-career professionals to contribute fresh perspectives, build professional relationships, and play an active role in TTRA’s member community.
Committee members serve as TTRA ambassadors, helping new members connect, get involved, and feel welcome while contributing ideas that support a more engaged and connected association.
Who Can Apply?
TTRA encourages expressions of interest from individuals who meet either of the following criteria:
- Are 30 years of age or younger
- Have five years or less of experience in the tourism industry
Interested individuals are invited to share their background, interests, and the strengths they would bring to the committee through a brief online application.
Applications Close November 22, 2026
The Emerging Leaders Committee will review all submissions and notify applicants in December.
