The NorthEast Chapter of the Travel & Tourism Research Association (NETTRA) was formed February 2020. A group of passionate tourism professionals and researchers from the NorthEast region formed a steering committee and watched over it until reaching approval.
Mission
The NorthEast region is considered the most densely populated and economically developed area in the United States.
Why Join NETTRA?
- To engage in regional networking with tourism academics, practitioners, and vendors.
- To expand individual and collective knowledge on regional issues relative to the tourism industry.
- To share resources and collaborate.
- To participate in NETTRA’s annual regional tourism conference, where members’ work can be featured and meaningful discussion can take place.
Region
NETTRA will be composed of the following ten states – Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont – as well as Washington, D.C.
