TTRA APac 2024: Research Symposium

Date: Sunday 1st December 2024
Time: 09:00 – 12:00 hrs.
Venue: Dusit Thani College

Symposium Agenda

Part 1 – Leveraging LinkedIn for personal branding (0900hrs to 1000hrs)

  • Focused on academics’ personal branding
    • Unlike other programs and workshops for academics, which revolve around papers and publishing, this workshop trains you to develop your brand as an academician and a researcher.
  • Magnify your chances
    • LinkedIn is a professional platform – which also means that your future collaborators, your future employers, and your future clients will be looking at your work. You can magnify your chances of finding the ‘right one’ when you are impactfully present on the platform. This workshop is specially designed for researchers and academicians to allow their impact to widen!
  • Sharing research
    • Sharing research with your network should be more meaningful than the ‘hot off the press’ captions. In this workshop, you will learn strategies to communicate with non-experts on the platform – because, most of the time, they are the decision-makers!
  • Increased Impact
    • Good research becomes best when translated into reality. LinkedIn allows you to grow the impact of your research by sharing it with people who can use that information for the larger good. This workshop has an action plan embedded to allow you to put your best foot forward!
