The Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is excited to announce the Call For Presentations for the Marketing Outlook Forum (MOF) 2025. This year’s theme, “From Data to Destination: Shaping Tourism’s Future,” underscores the pivotal role of data in driving strategic decisions and shaping the future of the tourism industry.
We invite industry leaders, marketers, researchers, and tourism professionals to share their insights and expertise, demonstrating how data can be leveraged to foster sustainable and successful tourism practices.

We encourage submissions that explore (but are not limited to) the following topic ideas for MOF 2025:
- AI and Innovation in Tourism Marketing:
Explore how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing tourism marketing, from personalized travel recommendations to automated customer service solutions. - Case Studies of Marketing Results:
Present real-world examples of successful tourism marketing campaigns, focusing on strategies, implementation, and measurable outcomes. - Data to Insights and Insights to Actions:
Discuss methodologies for transforming raw data into actionable insights, and how these insights can drive strategic decisions in tourism marketing. - Digital Marketing Trends:
Examine the latest trends in digital marketing, including emerging platforms, tools, and techniques that are shaping the future of travel promotion. - Future of Travel: Forecasting and Predictions:
Offer predictions on travel trends based on current data, including technological advancements, changing consumer behaviors, and global economic factors. - Social Media Marketing:
Analyze the impact of social media on tourism marketing, highlighting successful strategies for engagement, content creation, and audience targeting. - DMO Marketing Across the Country:
Share best practices from Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) across different regions, focusing on innovative campaigns and regional marketing strategies. - Measuring Marketing Effectiveness:
Discuss advanced metrics and methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing efforts, including ROI analysis, customer satisfaction, and long-term brand impact.
Submission Details:
Your insights and expertise are vital to the success of MOF 2025. We welcome proposals for individual presentations and full sessions, including keynotes and panels. Please include a brief description of how your presentation relates to the conference theme and addresses a significant research or industry need. Additionally, provide a biography of the proposed presenter(s) and indicate the preferred presentation format (Organized Panel, Part of a Panel, Single Presenter Session, etc.).
Important:
Submissions must be future-focused and should not be sales pitches. Presentations should provide valuable insights and practical knowledge for the future of tourism.
Key Dates:
- August 15, 2024: Proposal submissions due
- September 15, 2024: Notification of acceptance
- November 15, 2024: Finalized session details and presenter information due
- January 10, 2025: Submission of all presentation materials (slides, videos, etc.)
