Agritourism, Accessibility, and Adventure: Insights from Australia Shaping Tomorrow’s Travel
Three powerful trends are reshaping how visitors connect with destinations around the world—and how communities experience tourism: accessible and inclusive travel, agritourism, and cycle tourism.
Join TTRA for an engaging, insight-rich webinar featuring Garrett Tyler-Parker, Director of Analysis and Insights at Tourism Research Australia (TRA), the Australian Government’s agency for tourism intelligence.
What you’ll learn
Drawing from TRA’s latest national research, Garrett will share:
- Why accessibility, agritourism, and active travel are accelerating globally—and what destinations should do now
- Actionable insights that DMOs, researchers, and industry partners can apply beyond Australia
- A deep dive into LIVE (Longitudinal Indicators for the Visitor Economy), TRA’s innovative, publicly available insights platform
- How visitor-to-resident density, a new mobility-based metric, is helping communities balance tourism growth and quality of life through a triple-bottom-line approach
Expect a data-driven look at Australia’s tourism strategy, practical takeaways you can apply locally, and fresh thinking on how research can support more inclusive, sustainable, and community-aligned tourism.
