Power of Research Award
The Power of Research is an advocacy platform created by SETTRA to promote the importance of tourism research within the industry and among tourism researchers. The goal of the Power of Research is to succinctly communicate how research was used to improve an organization and how a research project made a difference.

To keep the plaque that ChandlerThinks was awarded last year, they had to defend the title with a new story in 2018. The contender, Downs & St. Germain Research, submitted a story to dethrone ChandlerThinks.
Both with compelling branding research stories, ChandlerThinks was able to keep the Power of Research title.
In 2017, SETTRA was pleased to present the 1st annual Power of Research Award to Chandlerthinks, LLC, who did research for Marshall County CVB. The research was based on the idea of developing a true community brand other entities can embrace. Congratulations to Greg Fuson and Chandlerthinks!
