As part of your membership fee, all members of TTRA automatically belong to their local chapter, providing localized communications and networking opportunities. If not geographically aligned with a Chapter, or if you have a specific regional interest, members are able to nominate a Chapter to join.

Range of International and Local Conferences
TTRA hosts two conferences a year – the Annual International Conference in June (held around the world) and the Marketing Outlook Forum (held in the U.S.) in October. In addition, the seven TTRA Chapters hold localized conferences each calendar year. That’s a total of nine conferences each year, each with a unique topic and perspective on travel and tourism research and marketing.
TTRA offers members many opportunities to share knowledge and experiences with industry colleagues through conference presentations, website postings, eNews submissions, webinars, and via social media.
TTRA offers a range of traditional and non-traditional peer and colleague networking opportunities – both in-person and online. TTRA exposes members to some of the greatest mentors in the travel/tourism community.

Premier, Partner, and Lifetime members can access current and past issues of the Journal of Travel Research, the premier, peer-reviewed research journal focusing on travel and tourism behavior, management and development.
DISCOUNTS DIFFER BY MEMBERSHIP LEVEL
TTRA Members enjoy discounts to the Annual International Conference and the Marketing
Outlook Forum. They also receive discounts to the seven regional chapter conferences held each calendar year.
TTRA Members receive both the presentations (keynotes and practitioner breakouts) and proceedings (academic) from the annual conference as part of their membership. They also receive a discount to purchase the Outlook for Travel, the proceedings from the Marketing Outlook Forum, if they did not have the opportunity to attend the event.
