Dear TTRA members and friends, We are moving forward in leaps and bounds with planning for the 50th TTRA International Conference being held in Melbourne, Australia from June 25-27 2019. Over the course of the conference, we will navigate the terrain of shifting sands – reflecting not only the great Australian deserts and coastline but also the influence of the external global environment on international tourism trends. Announcing NTTO’s Efforts in International Data Quality Improvements by Following International Guidelines As the sole trade association representing the global population of travel and tourism research professionals, the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) is issuing the following advisory to the industry on TTRA's perspective and role in recent developments regarding the revision and reissuance of the Survey of International Air Travelers (SIAT) by the National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO). TTRA members have been actively engaged with NTTO throughout the revision process and have provided their perspective on destinations' needs for data standardization and accuracy at the national level.
